What is a SUPER GAS SAVER ??

This continuation of the article, is for filling you in on certain complications of applying the water4gas to your gasoline powered engine. I will also talk about how it works with diesel.

There is 2 important things to be aware of when you use the Water4gas method with a gasoline engine.

1. You will need to retard the timing on your vehicle.
2. Your ECU or ECM on your vehicle will try and rob you of your gas savings.

Another "no minor complication" is that, since your timing is computerized, it leaves a big question as to how you could adjust it. The only answer I have for you is this; If you were to purchase the Water4gas information manuals, they tell you about certain adjustments you can make. These applications that will get your ECU to respond by retarding your timing.

There are performance parts available that can give you control of your timing, such as from MSD Ignition parts. I don`t recommend that unless you are really serious about getting deep into this, (with cash that is.) Ebay Motors would be your cost effective avenue for this system.

No.2 : With the water4gas method you are going to be throwing more oxygen into your exhaust sysytem. When your O2 sensors let the ECU know this; the ECU will adjust to this after a while by sending more gas to the engine. This will rob you of your gas savings.

Again the Water4gas manuals address this issue and inform you of tricks you can use to combat this. Thus once again allowing the hydrogen to save you gas. If you are able to optimize all of this your gas savings will be substantial.

Now it is possible to set up a hydrogen only system to add to your gas mix. That means that you won`t be throwing oxygen into the gas burn. So your ECU won`t be fighting you. That means you would only have to adjust the timing and nothing else. These systems will cost you more though. That`s why I stick with the water4gas.

Water4gas is a very doable system, but it`s not just a walk in the park. However if your vehicle is older than 1986 it can be a very simple application to get those gas savings, as computerized systems were not mandated in those older cars.

Diesel on the other hand is a much easier installation with the water4gas system.

With diesel you neither have to fight an ECU nor do you need to adjust your timing. The faster you can get the gas to burn in a diesel the better. And no timing adjustment is needed.

Does this all sound complicated? It`s really not once you start to learn about what is needed. That`s why I refer to the water4gas manuals. Every thing is in them to show you how to do most applications.

It`s a shame that we have to fight government mandated devices to get a super gas saver vehicle with drastically improved emissions. That`s all I got to say about that!
